The project seeks to respond in the economic and cultural extension of the city to the Bay, recently the character of the port as a new liquid square. The existing facilities are mixed with the new programs, creating a large park for the recovery of the natural ecosystem, giving a formal framework to the production introducing forces of social capital and generating new opportunities, connecting the Cuban population and welcoming tourism. The sector is located in the south of the Bay, where the warehouses of products linked to the sugar and coffee industry are concentrated. Today is a platform of discharge, where there are only small orchards in green areas.
