About 

Gonzalo Nicolau, is an architect graduated from the National University of Cordoba in 2017. During his career he has participated in international courses and workshops in Argentina, Colombia and Cuba. His thesis, Havana food port, received several awards. He obtained the first prize in the international competition for the remodeling and improvement of Villa General Belgrano, Argentina. In 2018 he moved to Mexico. Today installed in Tulum, he continues to practice independently in projects and collaborations.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF IDEAS FOR THE VALUE SETTING AND REVITALIZATION OF THE CENTRAL AREA OF VILLA GENERAL BELGRANO, 1st Place

The main purpose of the contest was to advance the value and revitalization of the Central Area of ​​the Locality, imagining the urban transformations that allow the center to be given new spaces for public use and at the same time to generate bigger routes with activities of tourist interest; such as artistic, gastronomic productions typical of the region, recreational and social.
The main objective is to achieve a higher quality of Urban Life, with new spaces that have the human scale present, building unique microclimates in each of them, with predominance of pedestrian movement; and finally the projectual approximation of some buildings that in the future would be part of this new proposal for the city.
Mobility study
New pedestrian spaces to enter the hearts of apples where new urban commercial spaces will be generated. Mobility includes parking lots, finding innovative forms of parking in these apple hearts that do not negatively impact the landscape.
