RIYADH, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA - 368 Unit 47 Story Tower

The design emerged from the notion of the Oasis was that of fabulous dining, recreation, luxurious accommodations and the extraordinary service gathered in on perimeter location surrounded by rippling waters and palm trees. The plan calls for a building that meets the highest sustainability criteria of LEED Platinum. Included sustainable features among other ; photovoltaic glass panels on facades, combined solarium balconies / vertical solar chimneys at the buildings main facades for passive cooling elaborate louver system that responds to solar rays from all directions and passive cooling water system through a major water fall at the main entrance.
Crowning the building is a rotating restaurant designed as a glowing star in the city skyline inspired by the shining stars that can be seen in the clear desert nights.
