For weeks alternative media have been reporting this. For weeks the Federal Government has been keeping a media blackout going in the gulf only allowing staged shots and scripted reports. Now they are confirming what many already knew or suspected including geotechnical engineers in the gulf region - that there appears to be a crack and it its leaking oil and gas.
These are huge underfloor reservoirs with many fissures that eminate from them as a result of Earth's constant tectonic plate movement, the media is merely hyping this up. We shouldn't be meddling with the oil anyway.
