This past weekend OpenSimSim hosted a global event in 9 cities worldwide. The event OpenJapan, combined design intelligence and the need to help, to discover over 100 ideas to help in the reconstruction and recovery in Japan.
Over 150 participants coordinated worldwide over the span of 72 hours, with the entire event kicking off in Tokyo, Japan. Participants brainstormed, from Tokyo, Moscow, Chennai, Paris, Berlin, Lisbon, Torino, New York City and Kansas City.
Members from Japan are extremely pleased at the evolution of ideas and where amazed at how the event allowed for them to smile, laugh and see that hope was on the horizon.
