From my understanding of accredited degrees in architecture. You need to have an accredited degree to practice architecture and it can be either a 5 year bachelor or a 4 year bachelor + 2 year Masters, so long as it is accredited by the NAAB.
However, if you are pursuing a post-professional master’s degree for the purposes of advanced technical study or teaching, this degree does not necessarily need to be accredited by the NAAB. Does that make sense?
