Adobe Illustrator question: How do I invert colors?

archconnect

Hello,

Ok, I have a drawing that's in black lines on a white page. How do I make the lines white and the background black?

Thanks guyz

Tectonic

1. create new layer
2. make a black square send it backwards w/ your order option
3. turn off the square layer
4. select all your black lines
5. use your color palette to turn into white lines
6. turn on your black square layer

Good luck

simplifying 3-5

select all your lines and go to Filter_Colors_invert colors.

illustrator also allows you to colorize and tint images, etc.through this pulldown. just mess with it
