The one year plan
Hi!
I am finishing up my final year of b.arch in India and am graduating in july. I had planned on doing my masters this fall, but didnt make it into any of my top choices (cornell, ut austin) i did get into pratt but cant go this year cos the program starts in june (before im done here)...
Anyway my question is this - what is the best thing do to for the year ahead. I am not sure i want to reapply next year - it was pretty discouraging getting rejected so many times over ... but then again i would like to work on building up my portfolio and maybe working up teh courage to reapply to one or two of my dream schools....
Im interested in sustainable architecture - so keeping that in mind : any summer programs, internships, workshops....
basically any leads would help at this point...

defer at pratt, and maybe reapply to the other places for next year
Stay as far away from the US as possible. Once your studies are over, you'll be on a plane back to India in this economy.
