Do you know EU country that recognizes US architecture registration?

smash101

Hello,
I am an US registered architect in located currently in the UK. RIBA and ARB do not recognize US architecture registration, therefore the process of getting registered in the UK is hard and very expensive, we are talking many thousands of dollars. UK does recognize EU registration. Does anyone know an EU country that recognize US registration or an EU country that has fairly easy registration process for international architects.

Thanks!

IMO the US should not recognize the registration of any foreign-registered architect whose respective countries will not recognize our architects. The same should go for guest worker visas for foreign architects in the US. Reciprocity should be the name of the game.

There was reciprocity between the US and UK, so that architects registered in the States would not require Parts 2 and 3 (as the OP states).
Guess which country severed that relationship?
Hmmmm, what league of morons could it be...

"The same should go for guest worker visas for foreign architects in the US."
What do you mean by that? If a foreign architect gets a visa to work in the US, a person from the US should also get a visa to work in the 'other' country? I think the visa process is governed by the immigration authorities, not the Architects Board.
