drums please, Fab?

how 'bout archinect?
fun with diagrams, indexing, and mapping

and i would always suggest trying to get a copy of Perspecta 22: Paradigms of Architecture (with the Douglas Graf essay Diagrams) and/or Datutop 14 (with Doug's essay Strange Siblings, an Inadvertent Hommage to Charles and Ray Eames)

1) pretty much anything by Edward Tufte

2) www.amazon.com/Understanding-USA-Richard-Saul-Wurman/dp/0967453607/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267113390&sr=1-1]Understanding USA by Richard Saul Wurman

3) Data Flow is more contemporary but less systematic

4) Check out Good Magazine's Transparency section for regular updates of spectacular information graphics.

***no, these are not archi-centric. But they touch on maps, icons, legibility, readability, and handling oodles of information in small spaces. Just because they aren't directly about buildings doesn't make them non-applicable.

whoops, I just noticed that you requested a website... sorry about that. Well, skip to #4, or visit your local bookstore to expand your options.
