I was hoping that someone who has been through the MDesS at Harvard could talk about how advantageous it has been for their career. It is a particularly appealing degree b/c it allows focused research (if you choose) within a 9 month period. Is it beneficial only if you plan on teaching at a university, or are there professional advantages as well?
Particularly the technology focus allows you to work with facilities that are pretty advanced. It seems like there are a lot of architectural practices that are beginning to use these technologies. Would it be a better idea to try to work with them instead?
Any help regarding this program would be much appreciated.
