I am on an AIA program committee for a regional conference & have been tasked with creating a list of possible keynote speakers. The theme of our conference is "beyond green". Since our lineup thus far is shaping up to be fairly male centric, I am hoping to offer some balance.
Can you recommend any female architects who are focusing on whats next in sustainability, design & social equity issues?
She's based in Slovenia, but Marjetica Potrc is an interesting up-and-coming architect/artist whose work is at the intersection of sustainability and social justice issues (you mentioned social equity issues in your original post, so I thought I'd throw it out there....)
Female Architect Recommendations
Hello,
I am on an AIA program committee for a regional conference & have been tasked with creating a list of possible keynote speakers. The theme of our conference is "beyond green". Since our lineup thus far is shaping up to be fairly male centric, I am hoping to offer some balance.
Can you recommend any female architects who are focusing on whats next in sustainability, design & social equity issues?
Thank you very much for your time & input.
