NZ architecture gets another bizarre vision and a further nail in the coffin of professional relevance. Future generations left a legacy to send to the landfill if the neighboring volcano doesn't swallow it first, here's hoping.
The council is open to submissions on this design, so if any one out there has an opinion feel free to overload their web site...and please no jokes about those renderings... I suspect the client paid good money for them.
Call me crazy but I actually like the fourth one down with the underground building.
I would appreciate them so much more if they were actually hand sketched.
It would be cool if they could open up that waterfront view more though.

Renderings look like that SketchUp free hand setting. Love the one illustrating the unrestricted view thru....
