I'm sure that this question has been asked before, but which section of the ARE did you take first? I've just started to study in earnest for the tests and wanted to see what strategy others have taken.
Started with Programming, Planning & Practice since it's a catch-all exam with the lowest pass rate. Seeing a lot of repeat material as I'm studying for Site Planning & Design now.
It's very subjective. Depends on your comfort level on the topics: strengths and weaknesses. I'd start with CDS then PPP. Check out my latest blog post this very topic.

I did CDS, then PPP, then the site planning and design one. Seems like most everyone starts with one of those.
