here I am at the office On the last day of the year and with not much to do...Instead I found it more productive to Revise or in better words, make my own interpretation of Mau's Manifesto's.
I hope he can read it and I wish interchange some thoughts. Santa knows I have behave this year so hopefully he will grant me one wish.
Why Am I doing this now? I have been an designer for the past few years and during the last year I have serious difficulties in my personal life that drove me to reformat my mind and re-question my believes about life art and everything in between.
I read this manifesto long time ago and it was like my bible. I follow it to the inch and then everything was thorn to pieces. It is when I decided to rewrite it based on my own experience and perhaps to understand this world a little better.
With nothing more to say and hoping I get some response from somebody here it is.

Revise Manifesto of Vee based on the original Manifesto of Bruce Mau.
1. Allow events to change you (agree 100% with this) Have a mind open to everything and attach to nothing.
2. Forget about Good. Yeap Good is not good enough. Make it remarkable. “The best” leaves space for nothing better to be able to grow you need to allow things to move you instead of pushing ideas, let ideas move you.
3. Process is more important than outcome. (agree 100%) have fun with the process and you get remarkable results forget about outcome and you’ll always be surprised.
4. Love your experiments (as you would an ugly child) Love to hate them and Hate to love them. Hate is not the opposite of Love it is just a synonym the opposite of Love is indifferent do never forget or regret your experiments instead Embrace them.
5. Go deep. Hit bottom and come back up! After you hit bottom there is nothing deeper therefore everything will be just greater and greater after each fall. Don’t be afraid to fall or else you won’t experience the greatness of life.
6. Capture accidents. There are no accidents in nature there are coincidences angles coming together at a perfect time and place to create something. So look for coincidences and you will find the real essence of the World. Don’t capture anything what you retain are the things that you set free.
7. Study. Don’t get this. Any place is a good place to imagine something new and exciting. Anytime anywhere under any circumstances let your mind go wild and follow your heart.
8. Drift. SHIFT (transform) go beyond form not just change direction TRANS-form.
9. Begin anywhere. START (come suddenly into action) ANYWHERE but start. Right here right now without fear.
10. Everyone is a leader, and a follower at all times. And the best leaders are the ones that know when to follow.
11. Harvest Ideas. Plant the seed (curiosity) before you can harvest and eventually Ideas will harvest you.
12. Keep moving. STOP! Take a break and let yourself go with the flow of the energy that surrounds you it is much pleasant. Take your time enjoy! This is not a rat race this is life. We need to don’t resist: Allow. Bend when necessary so you will never brake. Be in constant FLUX.
13. Slow Down only when you own it!
14. Don’t be cool. Be you!
15. Ask stupid questions. Question are the answers arrive to your answers don’t let nobody dictate you the right answer listen process and land at your own answer.
16. Collaborate all the time and with everybody! Exclude no one.

18. Stay up late. Or wake up early it is all relative. The morning breeze has secrets to tell you.
19. Work the metaphor ok
20. Be careful of take risk. Isn’t this an oxymoron? Take risk FULL RISK if there is such a thing. Follow your heart blindly and your inner voice and you should always be in a great place! HAVE NO DOUBT about it!
21. Repeat yourself. Until you don’t like it anymore! And then move on quickly don’t settle for “It’s Ok”.
22. Make your own tools. And use them often.
23. Stand’s on someone’s shoulder and be brave to carry someone on top of you! Let’s make a big tower! He is able to carry us all.
24. Avoid Software and hardware? Why? Why should it be excluded? only use it wisely.
25. Don’t clean your desk. Until you finish a project. Then clean and start again.
26. Don’t enter awards and competitions. Yeah don’t don’t be slave to your achievements an award is worth nothing It is just the point of view of a group of people competitions are ridiculous we don’t need to compete! We can all win we are all unique.
27. Read only left-hand pages. Jajajaj SO it goes to the right side of your brain? Read as far as you enjoy it and skip what you don’t!
28. Make new words…..ALL THE TIME! There won’t be a “new way of thinking” just a “different” way of thinking.
29. Think with your Mind and live with your Soul. “Someone” said…Imagination is better than knowledge.
30. Organization = Liberty NEVER! Organization implies boundaries order logic….Have no Boundaries create your own order and what it logical anyways! Break rules you don’t agree on and you’ll be free go beyond boundaries.
31. Don’t borrow money. You don’t need money to have an idea. Money will shop up when time is right! Don’t stop dreaming people will be able to help.
32. Listen carefully. And Speak carefully too. Be always respectful of the opinion of others and feel the need for approval.
33. Take field trips all the time even if you don’t know where you are going even if you don’t move from your seat! Just GO!
34. Make mistakes faster. And take for responsibility for them. After that you can fix them at your own paste try to do it quickly though.
35. Imitate but don’t copy.
36. Scat . yeah make smells sounds but allow time to be silent too!
37. Break it , stretch it, bend it , crush it , crack it, fold it…..smell it, play it, taste it, LOVE IT and HATE it too!
38. Explore the other edge, and TURN IT AROUND.
39. Coffee breaks, cab rides, green rooms…or in the PIT TO HELL.
40. Avoid Fields. Yeah this goes more with # 30.
41. Laugh, laugh , laugh and keep on laughing till you pee in your pants! ;)
42. Remember the great the bad and the ugly! Then Laugh about the bad and ugly and laugh more about the great!
43. Power to the people. Don’t power the people that will make to want to have control over their lives which they can have up to certain point and after that they will fill powerless and exhausted. Empower them to be free. Your happiness is in your tail don’t pursuit it stand straight and move forward and it will always follows you no matter what.
44. Be at peace with your surroundings and with your own.

I have a copy of the Mau manifesto in my cubicle at work, if only to remind me that at least someone, somewhere is living and working on their own terms.
yeah, i used to like this; have liked it for nearly 10 years, then i read this; An Annotated Manifesto for Growth, it's much funnier, and puts Mau in perspective.
