hi, I am a first year MLA student with the background of Bacholor and I want to talk about the past semester. I do not know why I am put in the 3-year programme MLA I, the school is excellent, classmates are all very nice, but in terms of design learning, I just feel I learn little things about designing. Professors do not talk too much, most of classmates do not have background that I always help them with drawing, concept and so on. This is OK because we get along well but I just feel I do not make progress for past months. The studio project is repetitive to me and there is shortage of "atmosphere of design" for most guys do not have designing background. Does anybody has similar expenrice? or any comments is welcome towards this situation.
