can anyone point me to specific works of jacques derrida that influenced eisenman, esp. during the early eighties? i am familar with the choral works book but i've had trouble getting my hands on it and am looking for more specific theoretical stuff from derrida.
St. Marks Bookshop in NY used to have a pile of Choral Works for something like 12$. Not sure if any are still lying around though. Maybe give them a call.
Derrida has an essay called "Why Peter Eisenman writes such good books" that is certainly the place to start.
You should also check out Mark Wigley's book "The Architecture of Deconstruction: Derrida's Haunt" as welll as the Deconstruction Omnibus volume from Academy Editions
