MARCH II PORTFOLIO

nicky5

Hi,

I know you get a lot of people posting their portfolio's and wanting feedback, but I would appreciate it if you could take a look at mine and give your honest opinions.

I will be applying for an MARCH II degree, which is a post-professional degree. i already have an accredited Bachelor's degree.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Good luck getting any of us to have the patience to download that behemoth.

And I hope you don't think that any admission committee will have the patience for that either.

in acrobat pro: pdf optimizer: reduce all images to 72dpi for posting online

then run reduce file size.

it should get your portfolio down to something normal like 5mb...which we have patience for.

then try to repost.

Thanks for posting your portfolio. I did in fact download it, although it wasn't fun.

I would suggest more hierarchy in your spreads. It seems everything gets even attention, where I think some of the physical models would benefit from a little more attention in terms of size. There is always one strong drawing or photograph in each of the spreads that really pushes the quality of the project, but they get lost in the shuffle. I think you should determine what those are and let them be the focal point of the spread.

I would also be more consistent with your layout grid and organization. It feels very jumpy when I flip through it.
