1st year architecture (juniors) construction class. They have had a few drawing courses and are in their first studio. Trying to think of a fun final project. 1st was diagramming, second is construction documents, then the final needs to be a project revolving around making.
Had some suggestions that have been successful in the past like make a chair out of a single 2x6, so I'm scouring for more ideas.
emphasis on craft more than design, and can't be overly complex to take too much away from their studios. They will have 2 weeks to complete this
Tell me about a great charrette project
