I saw some great presentations and some terrible presentations. Some of the juries were awesome, some were friendly, some were hostile, some were on another planet.
I think I watched six complete presentations + crit, out of 74. So... by no means a comprehensive sampling.
A good variety of stuff. A *healthy* variety of work and thought, from the predictable to the unimagineable.
Some of the Maya-based projects this year actually impressed me... whether that's gotten better or the shock of the new has worn off ??? (Last years' monster is this years' cute three year old blob?) I saw some really playful projects (Lucy!) and much less of the Aliens/H.R. Giger crap.

Reaction to SCI_Arc Graduate Theses (other grad theses)
I'm interested to hear reactions to this weekend's graduate thesis presentations at SCI_Arc from those who attended or participated.
