L'architecture du siège social (architecture of the "headquarters")

Distant Unicorn

I always feel like this is the place where [contemporary] architecture can go without recourse.

What [objects] do you feel impresses you most? What impresses you the least? What makes you want to fall over dead?

Is it the image of the building? Or how well thought out it is.

I ask this because I ran accross the corporate headquarters of Wal-Mart and almost gagged.

Now, they do have a fancy visitors center... but this is what the brain of the world's largest retailer looks like.
