To think, I just ran into him at Yale a few months ago, while he put one of my old professors in a head lock. We had a great talk about the South and how we both used to go to Myrtle Beach as children.
Great, influential mind, but more importantly a wonderful man. He will be missed.

Now we only have the NEW YORK THREE.
He was in perfect shape 15+ years ago. He looked like he was pumping iron all the time. However, he looked really old in the past few years.
Still remember he called one of his female students HONEY all the time :)
