well m seeking help through choosing between a couple of internships...
on one hand, I am already wrking under ravindra bhan who is one of the best architects in india, an alumni of upenn, an aga khan award winner etc...he is however senile now and is hardly working. he takes a couple of interns evry year in his office and right now i am the only soul in his office! (his contacts & lors may matter a lot though!)
on the other hand, i am getting to work under dixon and rothschild which is a big design firm and working on the delhi international airport project (the biggest project in SE Asia currently)...though the project is in its execution stages, airport is also my thesis topic...their lors should also be ponderous though...
m not too sure abt which to intern at...all the advise and experiences during your internships are invited...i also need to think abt grad school...thats a major issue right now... (i think i have a good portfolio :) )
"he is however senile now and is hardly working"
it's not very nice (to say the least) that you describe the person in name who you are working for as senile. I hope he or some of his useful contacts don't read archinect...if you're the only one in the office, it's pretty easy to figure out.
but to come back to your issue, if all you get out of this internship is his reputation and contacts, it's not a big dillema I guess.
'of or belonging to old age or aged persons; gerontological; geriatric.'
this is another way the same word can be used...i had not meant it in the derogatory sense, infact one of the reasons that i joined him is great respect for him and his wrk...
i should have been careful with my choice of wrds...sincere apologies...
:)

yeah, just a hint for the new, it's best to describe characteristics here without naming names.

i have a correction to make here..
'of or belonging to old age or aged persons; gerontological; geriatric.'
