SDR: there are a few little zooms, but I was mainly interested in all the activitiy going on in the foreground. watching the watchers. As for the skies, they opened at around 11 am and i got soaked. standing in shorts and a tshirt in the rain with a frisbeen sheltering my camera. (didnt have room in my pack for an umbrella)
I have been invited down to make another one (16th July)
So if you want more zooming let me know.
80 grit, glad you like the soundtrack. one of my favourite tracks. (from 2006)
SDR: The plinth (or the fourth plinth) is an empty plinth in trafalgar square in london, it has been used for public art projects (including rachel whiteread) since 2001/2002
The current exhibit is by Anthony Gormley (Angel of the North, and Solo show at the Hayward Gallery last year) one of britains best artists (in my opinion)
And involves 100 days 24 hours a day 2400 people getting the chance to be a statue. Heard about it on the news on monday morning and headed down for a look.
Will be back (and might pick a different viewpoint)
Thanks, ge-ril-a. So, there are different people standing on the plinth ? That's what I guess I missed. Maybe my eyes are getting old. I'll move closer to the screen. . .
Show us your treehouse, too. Yum. I'ma like a good treehouse.
