Where do you get the name Athens from?
I have never heard anyone but you call it Athens.
is that what the official name will be once off beta?

that is what it was originally named as WIP it would be nice to have the Athens name back, the only reason i say anything, unless you can think of a better safari animal name. ;)


New features, fixed bugs and changes

New features:

*
Copy & Paste.
*
Added parametric profiles from AISC standard (W, WT, S, ST, M, MT, HSS).
*
Text style and hatch can be specified by style and component.

New functionality:

* Opening parapet line display.
* Opening and column commands now remember latest measurements used based on the profile.
* Added or subtracted solids from a wall are now displayed on the top view.
* vaTable command updated.
* New section mark display. The section reference is also displayed now.
* vaSpace command implemented again. Now you can create an area from a point (inside a closed boundary made of walls and/or columns), a curve o a flat surface.
* The opening reference display is inside a capsule instead of a circle.
* New command vaOpeningArray
* VisualARQ command prefix is now “va” instead of “VA_”.
* New command “vaCPlane” that allows to put the workplane at the floor base elevation.

Interface:

* Wall, column and opening dialogs have been updated.
* Copy button has been added to the Floor Manager.
* New options have been added to viewport and object context menus.

Fixed bugs:

* All known crashes have been fixed.
* When using a block as model display for a window, the sill was also displayed.
* When mirroring doors and windows, the opening side was not correct.
* vaProfileFromCurve didn’t work with circles and some polycurves.
* vaCreatePlanView uses object attributes (color, layer, etc.).
* Dimension scale in templates has been modified.
* Doors and windows didn’t update when changing wall alignment.
* When changing the floor cutting plane height, the views in that floor are updated automatically.
* vaRoofChangeSlopeAngle command didn’t work.
* There was a bug in the opening styles from block which made them display at point 0,0,0.

When exploding more than one object at the same time, the resulting solid is the correct one.

Known bugs:

* After using Paste or Insert command (from file), the Undo information is purged.
* Material dialog boxes (Manager and Editor) are not localized.
* VisualARQ data are lost when editing a document from a Rhino instance which doesn’t have VisualARQ loaded.
*

When opening files from previous versions, all plan views are reverted to “normal” model views.

Installer:

* Support for Rhino 5.0 Beta.
* Old plug-in data are purged from the registry.
* Only the languages supported by the current code-page in Windows are installed in order to avoid installation errors.
* Expire date is now 20th September 2009.
