So I am trying to figure out which architecture program I want to apply to for 2010 and what I am pretty much trying to figure out is what school offers the most out of their program... I have been trying to find more programs that offer the MArch/MBA dual degree but the only university I could find was Illinouis... I still am in the search for more universities that offer this dual degree so if anyone knows more please let me know... Back to the question I wanted to ask... The New Jersey Institute of Technology offers a number of joint MArch degrees... One is with the Masters of Infrastructure planning, and one is with the Masters of Science in Management... What I am trying to figure out is which Dual degree should I try and shoot for? Which degree will open more doors? which degree will make me more profitable ($$$)? which degree would be the best fit with architecture? which degree would be the best route with the economy the way it is and for a college grad about to enter the work force in ~5 years?
yes, like xacto says. penndesign/wharton. veryvery strong dual. have a good friend who did b.arch at cornell, urban planning & mba @ wharton joint degree and trust me, he's doing ridiculously well. he can retire well with copious $$$ to last his lifetime in the 40's if he wanted to....like i said on the other post, you have to really be careful which dual degrees, not all are well balanced but yes, can NOT go wrong with what xacto said.
sorry for the double post but also gsd and harvard's mba. i know firms like the english firm rmjm who bought out hillier recently have a special recruiting relationship with them and will automatically put you at a higher lucrative place upon graduation.
Infrastructre Planning or MS of Management Joint degree?
