I've found their program recently. Sounds like what I need - MA/MSc in Sustainable Architecture. But I've never heard about Sheffield at all. Maybe someone has any kind of expierence?! Can we compare Sheffield with Barlett/AA?
BTW It's a fourth uni in UK in world school rating (important: not arch rating).
"The degree is not designed to give exemption from professional examinations (such as those covered by the RIBA/ARB) which are covered by alternative courses."
Master Courses in the UK are generally 1 year as this is and do not lead to part II exemption unless it is a top off [semester on top of the diploma] or some schools are doing a 5 year MArch Part II.
Sheffield is a good school and the course looks great - Bartletts equal course is taught out of the graduate school and not the architectural school - very engineery and little about architecture [bartlett on the whole is still in denial that climate change exist!]
if you are paying overseas fees just do the AA - although that course also tends to be a bit geekish
Cambridge has a good sustainble MDes or MRes I think and might be part II or going for part II validating
I'm reading a book written by Sheffield prof Jeremy Till - Architecture Depends. Till is highly insightful about the profession of architecture, and his writing is straightforward and engaging. It makes me think well of Sheffield.

Thanks a lot for the info - was useful. The AA course is a dream of mine, but the overseas fees in AA are double Sheffield, so I can't afford such amount of money right now.

Thank you, I'll try to get this one!

Any alternate variants?
