Need help finding a Career Discovery Program

joben

I am about to enter my first semester in the Masters of Regional Planning Program at SUNY Albany but have been seriously reconsidering this to see if architecture is more for me. I want to try and get into a career discovery program to find out before I make any drastic decisions but I cant find any that are local enough for me... If anyone has any suggestions on any programs in or near the Rockland County area please let me know, thank you.

You may still be able to register for the Cornell Introduction to Architecture summer program. It begins in mid June and goes for 6 weeks. I would call the architecture front office and inquire.

It's further afield but Harvard's Career Discovery program is excellent, and I believe they accept people right up until the starting date as well. You'd have to relocate to Cambridge for 6 wks though, but (being a student town) there are loads of cheap student summer sublets, many even on a weekly basis.

The entire list of summer programs is at the following on the ARCHCareers.org website.
