I am just wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on these architecture schools:
Sint Lucas (W&K) in Brussels/Gent, Belgium
Politechnico di Milano in Italy
Chalmers University of Technology in Goteborg, Sweden
University of Oulu in Finland
TU Eindhoven in the Netherlands
I am hoping to enroll in one of them for graduate studies, and they all seems to have their own unique program. Has anyone been? Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
All I know is Milan is the most depressing city I've ever lived in. Think of it as cold as Switzerland during the winter, gray, urban... and during the summer sweltering.
Thank you for the input. basically I am very interested in these countries (Scandinavia and the low countries in particular). Coming from North America, I would like to spend 2 years studying in one of these schools, getting to experience a different life style and design culture. Perhaps pick up another language or two. It would be nice to hear others' opinion about the schools and the program before making a decision.
Another issue to consider is obtaining licensure upon return to North America. As you would NOT have a NAAB degree, you would need to have your foreign education evaluated by EESA -- www.naab.org --.
You can still become licensed with your foreign education, but the road is tougher.
Thank you for your advise. I did thought about licensing back in the states, however, after some serious thinking, and seeing that the program structure are similar to those back in North America, I think I am going to take my chance in studying in Europe. I think it's somewhat easier to spend a couple of years studying there than finding a job there after I graduate.
I'm looking at European master's program also. And have more or less the same intention as yours. What's different is I'm not living in North America, and going to apply programs in the US at the same time.
For EU,I've selected Berlage Institute,TUDelft(both in Netherland),U of Aslo, Helsinki U of Tech(these two in scandinavian).
I've heard the reputation of POL Milano, but I'd rather stay in northern part of Europe.
Why I haven't heard of other schools you've mentioned? Are they good?
Grad school in Europe. Any thoughts/experience?

I think I have boiled it down to POL Milano and Chalmers in Sweden. Anyone has any experience in these schools? Any advice would be appreciated!
