Resume to apply?!

NATTY

When looking at what I needed to do to apply to BAC for my Barch i saw this:

"To apply for admission to the BAC's undergraduate programs, please provide the following:

4. current resume (or statement of academic and/or work experience) "

What does this mean?! I've never had a job that has to do with architecture or design or anything. I have no idea what to write here.
Any pointers?

It means to submit your work experience resume with your application.

Ya know, going into an undergraduate program most people applying are on the younger side and probably don't have much work experience in ANY field, let alone architecture. They aren't so much looking at the specific jobs you've had, but what skills you have developed there that demonstrate maturity, intellect, communication skills, etc. If you can articulate this in how you explain the responsibilities/duties you've had at any job, you should be fine.

To boot, people without extensive employment histories can highlight achievements elsewhere. Have you held any leadership positions in high school or in your community? Put that on there as well.

Hope that helps! Good luck!

Most schools want to accept well rounded individuals. They want to see work experience as well as community service, sports teams, extracurricular activities etc. They want to make sure you will contribute to the university community beyond showing up to lectures and hiding away in your dorm room.

So list as many relevant groups you belong to and what role you played within those.
