Torn thus Asking for Opinions on Studying Abroad (Turkey)
About to finish my first year of M.Arch (3.5 year program). We are offered to go to Turkey jointly with students/faculty from Bahcesehir University for three weeks this summer. Total cost ~$4000. This is the only summer I can do anything like it because next summer I will have studio.
However, next Spring I'm studying abroad in western Europe for an entire semester. I do have spring break off which would allow me to visit Turkey on my own.
The obvious difference is the total cost, but it's 1.5 weeks in the Spring and three weeks this summer. If I go in the summer, I will be collaborating with faculty and students of the native country. If I go in the Spring I'm on my own.
Torn.
Looking for opinions.
