I'm stuck on whether it makes a impact if i get either a B.Des in Architecture or a B.Arch. Then I would continue on and obtain my M.Arch. I'm just conflicted on whether the bachelors I obtain will make a difference. I need thoughts!
You have some sort of bachelors degree already, though, right? Why take out 5 years of your life to get another one when you are already eligible for an M.Arch? Sure, some people will come here and say the B.Arch will give you good insight and preparation for an M.Arch, but is that really worth 5 years? I say no. Resume-wise, it won't make much difference either, the M.Arch will trump any previous undergrad in most employer's eyes.
Maybe take a year and do some discovery courses, personal design work, etc. Get into a solid grad school and go get that M.Arch.
