I am seeking input for potential speakers at this year's International Federation for Housing and Planning World Congress to be held in September 2009 in Berlin. The theme of the congress is Urban Technology for Urban Sustainability: Climate Change and Energy Efficiency.
Within the larger theme are 5 sub-themes. These are:
Energy Production and Distribution
Energy Efficient Construction
Water Circulation
Mobility
Logistics
We are looking for specialists who, in the framework of workshops on one of the congress sub-themes, could outline their research or project work. The aim is to set up a debate and compare the various problems occurring and possible solutions.
As an incoming younger voice on the IFHP Bureau I have been asked to provide suggestions for "younger" experienced professionals to be a part of this process. Obviously young is relative, so for the purposes of this online input session, I will use 40 and under as young.
If you were to go to a conference on the above topics, who among the international, under 40 crowd would you want to hear speak?
