I will be receiving my Associates in Science next month and I'm planning on transferring to a university in Fall of next year, and I'd like to major in architecture. I looked up NC State's architecture requirements and it requires you to be accepted into their architecture program. I was wondering if there are any universities in North Carolina that will allow you to major in architecture without having to be accepted into an architecture program.
a "major" in architecture is not the same as a B.arch of a masters. I am sure there could be some art programs with a architecture focus, but those are not architecture degrees meaning, insufficient for intern status and licensing.

Do all universities require admittance to an architecture program?
