Has anyone ever been to see this? I wonder if it's worth a flight from Australia if I'm all the way down there. The images are always so beguiling. Any advice would be appreciated.
What nam said. You only live once. I've been nearly broke for most of my adult life, but I've never regretted spending money to travel. (Well, there was that one trip to Omaha, NE...)
I'm generally skeptical towards the cult of personality that surrounds a lot of starchitects, but I don't think I've ever come across a Renzo project that sucks. If he had an office in the US, I'd be camping out on their doorstep until they hired me.
