Experience before going to school

ellez3

Hi I'm currently taking a gap year after graduating high school.

I've decided to take a year off because of medical reasons (not that i'm sick) but I don't really have plans for the year. I want to do something that would be helpful in the future for either school or career but since I'm not in school, I can't intern or earn job experiences.

Any suggestions on what I could do / learn / read during the year that could be helpful for my architecture career?

Thanks

Go build something with habitat for humanity, take ceramics and other art classes offered in your community, read books, and travel to see meaningful works of architecture.

Learn to code and move to China (to learn Mandarin and perfect the art of GuanXI). Do those two things and you'll always be in demand.
