Trying to open a .rar file that has a quark file inside. I dont have the program to open it. any help appreciated.

7zip also works and is freeware
I second the recommendation for 7zip.
winrar should let you extract them for free, it just has limited options great thing about it is it adds shortcuts if you right click, including extracting, compressing (including zipped). it's all I've used for years.
will uncompress just about anything, including rar. It's solid, dependable, and free.
but will it make multi part rars?
try alzip, it's free and makes multi-part zip files
