Pencil sharpeners

gruen

My lovely wife picked up this vintage Boston model #16 electric sharpener for me (birthday). It's with a heavy heart that I have sidelined the vintage manual Boston #4 that belonged to my grandfather. Here's photos:

Nice, the new one looks very bauhausy. It can also be used as a last-minute model for a submarine.

My DUX:DX2580N ALVIN, has never lets me down as long as I change the blades every now and then. I love this little pencil sharpener!

All three are beautiful in their own ways.  I love this topic.

Gruen, you better keep that Boston #4! I have some serious nostalgia for that little machine too, I spent so many hours sharpening pencils on one of those things as a kid. They were in ever elementary school across the country.

For an add kid, has there ever been a better excuse to get out of your seat?
