i'm trying to find a project i saw a few months ago (on here? on bldgblog? somewhere?)..... but I can't seem to track it down.

it was a visionary urban project, could have been anywhere but i think it was in the middle of a desert.... essentially it was a solar updraft tower with large circular base........ this base consisted of several layers. the top was an air plenum, feeding the updraft tower. Below this (or possible merged with it) was a transportation level. trams & highways, etc. Below this was a layer of residential/commercial/industrial, and below this was an open ground plane...

anyway, i've been searching everywhere for 'solar city', 'solar chimne urbanism' 'solar mat building' etc etc, but can't seem to find it.

any ideas?

if i can't find it, i guess i'll have to design it myself ;)
