Go for it. Getting licensed is the best thing you can do for yourself as a professional, no matter how annoying or frustrating these exams can be....Just Do It !!!
i know, i really wanted to get it done as soon as i met all of the requirements....i completed my idp in 06 -3 years after my MArch was completed . i wish that i could have taken the exams concurrently, as you can now.
the short of it is that i now have a 2 year old and a 9 month old. i just need to know that it's worth the little free time i have to do this....

I just started studying last night. With work being slow, I figured it was a good time to get going on this.

The alternative being a life long "intern"? Choice is yours I guess, but can't imagine many people would want to retain that title.
