not surprising about your firm, i guess: isn't most of their work retail/commercial oriented? that work disappeared for us almost a year ago.

its just rough when you just get started after 7 years of schooling, massive debt, and no ability to create a nest egg to help you when this happens.
Yeah I know ...
... but could be worse ...
... could have crazy mortgage payments, children to support, etc.
