Opacity

greyhound

So, I am putting together a portfolio for a graduate program after a year hiatus from school. However, I am missing an article that was required reading for one of the design projects. I believe it was called "Opacity," and I think it's a pretty well known article. If anyone knows the author of the article or where I might be able find a copy so I can remember why the hell my project looks the way it does. All I really remember is that it was a relatively short article (6-12 pages) and it was about architectural opacity. Thanks a million.

i love the word 'opacity' -

OPACITY

the automatic dichotomy it suggests (opacity vs __),

the way it looks as a word,

and the way it sounds when you say it out loud to yourself.

so consider this a bump, i guess.

A parable in the making to think that sometimes what you are looking for is opacity but what you really need is transparency.
