ETH Application Does Not Require Portfolio?!
I've been considering applying to ETH for a long time but hesitated due to the fact that ETH doesn't seem to require a portfolio. I find this rather odd as every other school I've researched appears to place the greatest emphasis on the portfolio. Can anyone verify this? I feel like I'm missing something on their website.. This is where I've obtained the information:

Morever, I do not know German. A Level of C1 is required to begin studies and I am absolutely willing to learn it. Does anyone know if this level can be achieved within a 6-month period of study?

I'm thinking of applying there for a study abroad semester, and I've found the same to be true. ETH seems to evaluate students primarily on GPA, transcript, and letter of recommendation.
