I'm having trouble finding nice pocket door hardware that actually works and doesn't feel flimsy (like those cheap brass Emeco locks used in every home from the mid-eighties.)
Does anyone have any suggestions? I need a locking mechanism on one side.
I haven't personally but a co-worker swears by them. Used them all over this townhouse renovation he just completed. I'm trying to find a good image that demonstrates how they work but all I could find was this. Similar, but the Accurate is much more solid.
FSB, Nanz, Hafele, Sugatsune, a company called... I think "db" or something from Germany... those are my go-to's off the top of my head. I think I'm missing one...
Sorry if this is a rehash of an old thread. The only thing I found with a search was on keyed pocket door hardware, and it didn't really cover what I needed.
Orhan, I think that's an Accurate pocket door lock.
so when youre installing baseboard.. make sure to not nail it into the pocket door... which is hidden within the wall.. i dont know whooo would do thaat.. not smart.

Help — Pocket Door Hardware?

i.e. I'm looking to avoid this:
is good and solid. Their website is terrible but the hardware is good. Sugatsune also has a line, though they are a little less quality than Rajack.
Accurate also sells some nice edge pulls that pop out at the push of a button.
Have you installed the Accurate pulls? I like them, but I don't quite understand how the mechanism works.
