Book Recommendations- Construction and Building Technologies

Kenshiro

Hi All,

I'm looking for recent publications that focus on modern construction and building technologies, focusing on sustainable design if possible, that you feel are compelling and thorough. If there are any old school "must-haves" feel free to post them as well!

Cheers

fundamentals of building construction by edward allen was recommended to me by multiple professors in college and is one of the best ones i've read... far more detailed than ching.  there's not much on the sustainability front, but i know in my edition they had started injecting some sustainable blurbs in there.

I'd vouch for Constructing Architecture by Andrea Deplazes.  Goes into depth on some fairly recent projects.
