pedagogical philosophies?

It elaborates on research interests as well, but the first page or so serves as a pedagogic statement. I think the bulleted items are good, they allow for an explanation of each element of teaching, specifically.

Funny, we've been having tabled discussions about the very same thing at school primarily as it relates to the M.Arch programme. It is a 4+2 and have already overhauled the BAAS degree as a 3 yr general architectural knowledge + 1 year specific Caribbean/Tropical design leaning. That was prior to my arrival...I will say more under my correct profile

Any recommendations for books on design/art teaching/teachers? I have a nice one on Joseph Albers but Im sure there have to be others.

by betty friedman(?) is pretty good at teaching the art of looking.

education of an architect by hedjuk is a classic and certainly informed my undergrad education.

tk - that first book is great.

Skillful Teacher is one that always comes up among most of the people I know who teach for a living.
