A-cero, the Madrid based architecture studio, has been known for designing homes for the local cultural, business and sports elite. Sports and architecture have never been so close as in recent years, when iconic stadiums have been built by world famous starchitects, but there have been little news about the private preferences of the athletes themselves.
Well, here is a little insight: A-cero has just finished a fantastic contemporary home for the famous Liverpool Football Club striker Fernando Torres, who also played an important role in bringing the Spain national team to the top European Championship.
considering that american football players marry crazy women like left-eye lopez who burn down house then i can kind of understand why they prefer not to spend the money on architecture.

Its a sexy project, i don't think i've ever seen an american football player living in something as awesome looking.

i was thinking the exact same thing about american athletes and their mostly terrible houses on 'cribs.'
i don't like torres, but this is a surprisingly nice house.
Nothing about those images says house/home other than possibly the seemingly misplaced/misrendered front door.

IMO, you could make a similar statement about exterior images of Villa Savoye, Fallingwater, or the Farnsworth House.
I like the house, love the stripeyness and siting.
