I got one last year. It is definitely for kids, not speedy at all but the design is great. There are some oddities from them re-inventing everything. I haven't really delved too deeply into it since most of it is about programing, we mainly just play with the music programs. Maybe the XP one would be easier for me to use. Still a worthy endeavor worth supporting.
I received my XO last week and it definetely will NOT run any 3D program. It is a great laptop for kids, browse the web etc. I am really happy with it because it is awesome for $200; and you get to help children in poor countries. Way to go OLPC!

XO Laptop from OLPC available
The XO Laptop by the One Laptop Per Child is finally available to the public. What do you think about the laptop? Any experiences?
