Who makes this light fixture? or how do you do this?

blah

Who makes the long, rectangular fixture that is flush with the ground?

Or is this something Hadid made herself?

my guess is philips ledline or similar. i think zaha uses philips a lot, or at least used to.

I'm pretty sure it's LEDline, or something similar - covered by a plate of opaque acrylic (well, probably not acrylic, but something like that). With good LEDs and a decent detail it's pretty simple. You could also cast the leds into a semi-transparant resin, for such a use...

also realize that the light in that image may not actually look like that in reality. A long exposure would cause the fixture and the light to look like that

I would just use a single 5' fluorescent tube

Putting fluorescents outside is tricky. Trying to get them to work with dimmable ballasts in cold weather is risky.

I prefer the fluorescents because they're usually cheaper.
