strength tests for stone

What's the best resource to find strength tests for different stone slabs? Right now, I'm looking specifically for bluestone. Any ideas?!?!

ASTM is an internationl organization that produces technical standards to industries, the consider themselves a "standards development body"

you can specify that a product meet a referenced standard in your spec and then review the submittal from the contractor to ensure that it does....for example
